Life Time Fitness Torchlight 5K Scheduled for Wednesday, July 18 in Downtown Minneapolis

Life Time Fitness, Inc. (NYSE:LTM):

WHAT:           The 2007 Life Time Fitness Torchlight 5K begins just
                prior to the start of the Center-Point Energy
                Torchlight Parade. The event is part of the
                Minneapolis Aquatennial, a ten-day premier Twin Cities
                civic celebration that upholds a 68-year community
                tradition and hosts more than 800,000 visitors.

WHERE:          The Life Time Fitness Torchlight 5K begins at 13th
                Street and Hennepin Avenue in downtown Minneapolis and
                ends at Nicollet Island.  A special post-race party
                will take place on the Island and include live music,
                prizes and complimentary refreshments.

WHEN:           Wednesday, July 18, 2007
                   -- Race day registration - 5:00 - 7:15 p.m.
                   -- Race start - 7:30 p.m.

REGISTRATION:   Race registration will occur in the parking lot behind
                the Basilica of Saint Mary. The race day entry fee is
                $25.00

AWARDS:         Awards will be given to the top three overall male and
                female finishers.

PARKING:        Parking is available throughout Downtown Minneapolis
                (except at Dunwoody Institute). Parking information is
                available online at parking.ci.minneapolis.mn.us.
                After the race you can ride any Hennepin Avenue bus
                back into downtown. Participants may request a FREE
                bus pass from the information tent located in the
                Nicollet Island Pavilion parking lot. Participants
                must present their race number to receive a free bus
                pass.
